It’s so nice to meet you!
Hi there! I’m Bre, like the cheese 🧀 (she/her).
I’m a certified life coach, doctor of physical therapy, and owner of Orchard Physical Therapy + Coaching.
I also happen to be an introverted, often awkward, tender-hearted, and deeply feeling human, wife, dog mama, sun and travel lover.
As a white, cis-gender, hetero, able-bodied, non-religious and spiritually-curious woman, I hold many privileges and I’m on a journey to create safer spaces in my life and my business.
I worked in the corporate physical therapy space for over a decade before stepping away to open my own practice in October 2020.
I worked in the corporate physical therapy space for over a decade before stepping away to open my own practice in October 2020.
During my first year in business, I had the huge privilege of time and space to see what folks were bringing to their sessions and realized that so much of it extended beyond the physical.
Yet, I didn’t feel equipped to hold that space for folks.
At the same time, I was wrestling with how to integrate my business into my life, uncertain of how I wanted to do business, and how I wanted to support folks on their healing journey. I found myself wrapped up in our culture where individualism is valued and competition promoted. I looked outside of myself for the answers, was stuck loops of self-doubt and comparison, and wasn’t acknowledging my deepest dreams.
I was fortunate enough to be introduced to and work with a life coach to begin unpacking all of that.
Coaching has given me the space to embrace my tender heart, define what success looks and feels like in my life and business, align my vision for my life and business, create clarity when things feel murky, and trust myself. Having a space to bring all of the parts of me, to discover my deeper desires, and to listen to my intuition has been so powerful!
Through coaching, I realized my background as a physical therapist, my desire to support people and hold a caring space for folks on their healing journey has laid the ground work for me to support folks in their life journey. (If you want to read more about my journey, you can head over to the blog - Embracing Transformation: Journey to Becoming a Certified Wholehearted Coach)
I believe the magic of coaching is in creating a space for folks to slow down, to have a space they can bring all the parts of who they are, to be seen, heard, and acknowledged in their wholeness and wisdom, to create clarity and discover the next step and the possibilities present for them to move from where they are to where they want to be in this one wild and precious life.
If you’re ready to step into this journey with me by your side, let’s get started!
